Adjusting the appreciation strategy to include the rewarding of rejected offers will enhance intrinsic motivation among the employees. Another way to improve internal motivation is by offering prices for the whole family. This will involve the organization offering rewards that include the entire family and not solely the subject employee (Magnus, 2015). In my experience, employees are more productive if they know that other family members will also benefit from their efforts. Their internal motivation and desire to perform more effectively and efficiently in the workplace will be automatically boosted (Kim, 2018). offering to provide to just one employee (Jun, 2011). Changing the reward system from being individual-oriented to family-oriented will definably boost internal motivation amongst the employees. Recognition of employees as a way of appreciating them should be personalized. Currently, identification is made by merely verbal appreciation and recognition o of the subject employees. Verbal praise is a good step, but this could be reinforced by the adoption of other methods (Kim, 2018). These include promoting the accomplishments of the workers on social media. Symbols of achievements like certificates, trophies, and medals can also be beneficial (Thomas, 2017).
