Due to current governmental policies, small-town farmers cannot afford or produce enough to meet standards. 2. Thus, governmental policy is the cause of the depletion of small-town farms. 3. This affects consumers. 4. Because small, diverse farms decreased, huge farms that only produce corn and soy beans took over the market. 5. Corn and soy beans can be found in almost all food because both can be manipulated. 6. These types of ingredients are to blame for the unhealthiness of most people’s diets.
