Know and apply the transitive and substitution properties. Know how to locate a pair of opposite rays. Know how to locate a pair of vertical angles. Chapter 3A: Transformations and Lines in the Plane Know how to identify and classify isometries. Know how to find and write translations, reflections, and glide reflections of figures. Know how to find and rotations involving figures. Know how to identify the types of symmetry a figure may possess. Know and apply the midpoint formula to any situation. Know and apply the slope formula to any situation. Know how slope applies to parallel (same) and perpendicular (opposite reciprocal) lines. Know and be able to locate each type of special angle pair created by two lines and a transversal. Chapter 3B: Congruent Triangles Know how to correctly identify corresponding parts of congruent figures. Know and apply the reflexive property. Know all ways to prove triangles congruent, including HL in some situations for right triangles. Know the term CPCTC and how to use it in proofs. Know the basic features of a circle (all radii are congruent, area and circumference formulas, etc.). Know how to locate and use a median or altitude in a triangle. Know how to prove triangles congruent in all proof situations, including overlapping triangles.
