Rob and bj they have been dating for some time but bj

This preview shows page 4 - 5 out of 5 pages.

Rob and BJ – They have been dating for some time, but BJ remains Rob’s “secret” from his father. David and Molly – They are college sweethearts that have moved together from their college town to Molly’s hometown, so she can attend law school. Frankie, Rob, Alison and Juice – They have all been friends since childhood. They seem to be a very exclusive group of friends. Cultures There are a few significant cultural models in this film that affect the communication within the storyline. First, Leo is a very traditional, Italian immigrant with seemingly strong opinions on everything, including the need for his son to “settle down” with a good Italian woman. Second, Rob is a semi-closeted gay man who lives two lives; one with his friends where he is free to be who he really is and one with his father where he pretends to be straight. Finally, David is torn between two lives (cultures) as well. He is a writer drawn to the free-spirited culture that surrounds actors and care-free coffee shop employees but is in a relationship with a very proper, straight-laced law student.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
