CISP111 Final ProjectThe implementation phase is made up of six parts. 1.) Coding, 2.) Testing, 3.) Installation,4.) Documentation, 5.) Training, and 6.) Support. I will briefly describe each of the six components below.●Coding - Coding consists of transforming the physical design made by the analysis team into computer code done by the programming team. This can be a very involved process.●Testing - Once the coding has begun, testing can be done for each individual part. Then the individual parts can be combined together and tested as a larger program. After this everything may be tested as a system. Just remember that testing must be planned for earlier in the project. You need to know what you will be testing for specifically.●Installation - This step is fairly self explanatory. During the installation process, the old system is replaced by the new system. Users may become frustrated initially because of the differences. It is the installers job to work with the users during this process.●Documentation - Documentation is necessary throughout all phases of the project, but themost important documentation phase occurs during implementation because this is the end of the analysis teams’ involvement (Valacich & George, 2017, p. 456). The analysis team must provide all relevant information accumulated during the projects development and installation to the informations systems personnel and its users.●Training - Typically, training is provided by larger corporations for more common applications, such as Microsoft Excel. Analysts usually don’t provide much training. When they do it’s mostly to corporate trainers for systems they’ve helped design so that corporate can train individuals themselves.
