Many companies go abroad to get their products manufactured a ship them back to the United States for distribution. The parts made at TKC are unique in nature lead to a high labor cost for assembly and because of this unique design there is no automated machine to reduce labor cost. Larry, the CEO had his team come up with a few idea and Larry loved Howards Idea to opening 5 manufacturing plants nationally but with no survey research or feedback. It was a blind statement that had no research. With proper research and proper surveying TKC could have a better future. “The key to a successful survey is for management to clearly define the purpose of the survey and explain what will be done with the results” (Brown, 2011, pg. 374). A lack of critical information can cause many failures in the organization if they are not properly analyzed and surveyed. Howard also has a problem with relinquishing authority slowing progression. He is also very slow to delegate and communicate. This is a lack of leadership attributes. Daniel Palmer
