like under nutrition tuberculosis. Sampling Health organisations warned the users and producers of silica flour because is increase the risk of silicosis. They determine the heath conditions of workers and survey the airborne dust of silica. An individual having exposure of 1 year to 14 years had 37% “Chest Radiographic” evidences of silicosis. The results of samplings are matched and agreed with “Mine Safety and Health Administration” (MSHA) inspection samples. Contents of dust samples from mills were determined by the X-ray diffraction and they were 99% silica free which means that the diameter of sampled silica particles were in the respirable range Aetiology of Silicosis Silicosis is one of the oldest known pulmonary disease which can be caused by b the inhalation of silica dioxide, minerals which contain silicon dioxide are bounded with other elements. Factors by which the development of silicosis is influenced are: a) Duration of exposure in silica or dusty place for long time, b) this might be depended on the form of silica and the characteristic of flour surface Pathology The histopathology of silicosis gives clear insight about the characteristics which can produce this disease. There involves sequential immune-inflammation in a human and also in experimental animals. The minimum lesion found was the concentrated dust particles. In the development process of silicotic nodule, huge macrophages are commonly found at the middle with dust. When there is

large and older “silicotic nodules”, it means that the layer of concentric fibrosis with dust is distributed at “periphery”. These observations shows that this is a local disease with the involvement of focal lesions and dust which cause the disease. The reaction among lymphocytes, macrophages, fibroblasts, other cells and the connective tissue elements are observed on the foci of silicosis which preferably leads the situations which may results in characteristic lesion. Treatment of Silicosis As there is no cure invented for this disease, so the prevention is the better way for avoiding the silicosis. One this disease is diagnosed to someone, the doctor will assess the level or the degree of damage occur to the lungs. In some cases, people need support and oxygen for breathing urgently.
