the audience. This was a component I had not considered before because I assumed my story was interesting enough. After reading their opinions, I discussed with them my original ideas and why I chose something different. It was unanimous that my peers were more interested in my original idea to tell a children story. I was hesitant because I knew how much time that would take, and that meant there would have to be more sleepless nights. Ultimately, I just ran with my ideas and made them work. I knew I would have to draw more images to support my children’s book. I imaged ate least five and I knew they would not be as detailed as the pelican image. However, I think that works better for the children’s book. It was actually really heard to complete to story of the children book. I tried many different approaches. Initially I wanted to share a specific lesson and experience from an imaginary patients visit, but it was not working. I tried this approach many, many times before I finally ran out of time and had to keep it simple. I actually thought the simple lesson worked better for a children’s book and I am happy with how it turned out.
