Nanochemistry can be viewed as a multidisciplinary

This preview shows page 3 - 4 out of 4 pages.

nanochemistry can be viewed as a multidisciplinary domain, creating a bridge between biotechnology and nanotechnology in addition to straddling life and physical sciences. The discovery of nanomaterials has resulted in nanotechnological advancements. The synthesis of these materials has led to the creation of unique products that are slowly changing the quality of people’s lives. The paradigm shift to nano is likely to play a vital role in future advances in nanoscience chemistry, oscillating from the delivery of drugs to designing novel catalysts that improve chemical reactions. Since nanoscience is a multidisciplinary domain whose influence is augmented by technological improvements, nanochemistry is critical in speeding up the creation of applications vital for global fields.
