Otherwise, the ethical reasons of the second side in this problem are ethical egoism and cultural relativism . The second sides always think about their interest such as: money, profit for the company and luxury material for consumer. They do not care about anything else but their selfishness. They are also affected strongly by the cultural relativism such as the Chinese consumer on the strength, prosperity and wealthiness of any luxury material is made from the ivory . 5. The ethical theories of utilitarianism can use when dealing with the activist side of the issue. Money is one of the most important in our lives. I also believe some of activist also need money for their survival so to deal with the activist side, we should concern about how valuable of ivory bring to us in the luxury market . 6. I also believe that the divine command theory can constructs a medium ground be found between the 2 sides in order to foster a dialogue. This theory holds that an act is either moral or immoral solely because a religion either command us to do or prohibits us from doing it. I think the God will prohibits to kill elephants for their ivory because elephants are also the living species on earth. Elephants species must be treated fairly and kind of the same with human being. We should treat elephants species the same as people behave fairly with people on earth. 7 In conclusion, the ethics is the thinking through issues of right or wrong and it examines the moral choices that people on earth are going to make. Depending on the ethically speaking, I personally do not agree with the solution of treating elephants as commodities for our lives. It is not right and unfair for human behavior and elephant species. I believe in the divine and

Battle for Elephant 7 command theory about all of living things on earth such as human and animal. We all have the same right and behave to different species fairly. The natural law theory emphasizes that the nature was given to us by God or nature mother, so we must protect all the living or nonliving things on earth to obey the law which was given by God. 8a. I personally do not believe that the complete ban on ivory realistically happen because the human greediness is still there to adapt for all luxury living material such as: money, car, jewelry, house, etc. 8b. I know that it is pretty hard and takes a long time, even a hundred years, to recover for the elephants population like 1990s period. If the over population of the species happened, they still have their own environment to live, jungle, forest, safari national park, and they will never disturb people lives as we disturb them like today. We have to remember that we are, human being, is using much more of natural resource than any species in the world. We are the species destroying this planet in different ways from nature resource such as: fossil fuel to the biosystem, to release a huge amount of carbon dioxide to atmosphere which is contribute to global warming phenomenon.
