compassion, honesty, trustworthiness, and the desire to do my best in all areas of my life. Being a child of divorce and the troubles that come with it such as living in two separate houses, truly taught me how to be more self-reliant and strong willed, thus being able to make the best out of the difficult situation. Often times in life, we face challenges that are difficult. However, every challenge offers an opportunity and a chance to learn from it so we do not make the same mistake twice. My leadership and managerial skills have been greatly enhanced through participating in leadership activities. An example of this would be when I was selected to attend the Global Youth Village where I was exposed to the great diversity represented by other cultures, from many countries around the world such as Iraq and Indonesia. Through peace building classes we were able to openly share and collaborate about how despite being half way around the world, it was prevalent that we shared the same values and views on many things such as controversial and non-controversial issues. By participating in a Leadership development group based on the 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens, I have been able to enhance my Leadership skills through skill building activities which will help me and my passion to one day become a business leader in the
