patient, the practitioner must consider the cost, availability, interactions and side-effects of the medication. Strategies to minimize errors would be selecting the right drug, for the right patient, at the right time, while considering guidelines for the specific drug selected. Considering the Pharmacoeconimcs of a medication is extremely important to reduce errors in prescribing. In conclusion, considering every factor of prescribing each time I prescribe will help me maintain my honesty and integrity, while also maintaining ethical practice for healthcare delivery.
