Classroom VS Work Environment: The first learning from the internship is that corporate environment is very different from the classrooms. People will have fun but work is their first priority and it cannot be compensated. On the job people work with others and learn to handle the situation in accordance with their job which is a learning experience. Every day many clients, But each one being different : Interns need to do the same work for every client but the work became interesting because each client was different

and each one‟s tax situations were different. This can be taken as a positive as well as a negative way. At first interns had to understand the clients basic profile like, age, sex, income level, details to be needed etc., before making a call. CPC team have also visited an IT firm Schlumberger, and filed the IT Return of few clients. These clients were expats. This was the client handling experience. The team was able to answer their queries and clarify their doubts. It was totally a new experience. How to make people understand about the process especially the expats who do not have a clue and then showing them how it is done was very different experience. LIMITATIONS As the work to be done was in the back end team, interaction with the clients was not there. No cold calls were made no client handling experience was there. Work was limited to the allotted department. Internship duration of two months was less span of time to gain more insights of the work domain as well as the company. Permission for conducting a survey and asking questions from employees was not permitted. The permission to conduct only one interview was granted. The interview taken was of retail head because of the following reasons: He was the key decision maker. He was associated with the company since its inception, making him one of the person who has many years of work experience in the company and who has seen the growth of the company. Interns were allowed to go only to the people of their department for any kind of formal work. PROBLEMS The employees do not feel responsible to take care of the things they have been given to do their routine work. For example; they do not keep their laptops in good condition and they do not care about the amount of electrical power consumed. There is a lot of paper wastage in the washrooms.

One of the missions of the company is to develop long term relationship with the clients. They give opportunity to interns to assist clients online. Some high profile clients sometimes are handled by those interns who are not very well trained and prepared, this leads to loosing those clients. Some people were very burdened with the work while others were sitting idle most of the times and they were all in the same team.
