Origen of alexandria believed that everyone will go

This preview shows page 3 - 4 out of 4 pages.

Origen of Alexandria believed that everyone will go to Heaven in the end and Hell is temporarily, I disagree with him. St. Augustine of Hippo believed that we are all sinners since the day we are born, based on original sin that we all are part of and that we are all destined for Hell unless we receive God’s grace and be blessed by him to enter Heaven. My view on St. Augustine’s believes would have to be in disagreement, because in some scriptures like the one stated above, states that God has those who are chosen, he has predestined them to afterlife with him. So going back to my original statement of not every Christian being saved, I have showed in many scriptures that time and time again God is telling us that not all of us will
be saved. The gate to Heaven is not big and not everyone will be able to enter it. God wants us towork hard and do everything in our power to enter that gate, he is willing to help us, but we haveto ask him for his help and his grace. God is all loving God and he loves all of us differently, just like any parent out there. We want the best for our children, but we can’t help them, unless they ask for help. Same goes with God, he is willing to help us to get to heaven, that's why he is trying to make sure we are aware of what it is that is required of us in order to enter his kingdom.ReferencesHoly Bible: New Living Translation. 2018Humphries, T.
