Re:Topic 1 DQ 2
The research problem is a clear statement regarding an area of
concern or condition that can be improved upon. The research problem
does not state the solution, how to do something, or present a question
(USC Libraries 2018). This statement is usually referred back to
throughout a research project to help develop a solution to the initial
statement. The problem statement, in this case, is introducing a topic
that is being studied that usually requires some type of solution to the
research statement and why the topic is being researched. It
introduces the reader to the importance of the topic, place the topic
into a specific context, and provides the framework for the
findings/results (USC Libraries 2018).

Hi Christopher,
I enjoyed reading your post. I agree with many business or organization
have lots of performance problem and that cause high turn around.
Working in IT deparment, we have deployment of computers and other
devices comes with it for people working from home. My manager gave
me a project in how to process deployment in way we meet the
deadlines and in a fastest way as possible. That's already a problem
statement statement how to improve the process and the research is
investigate that problem statement to improve the performance of the
overall customer service that we have to provide. Indeed, identifying
problem first helps a lot when I do the research.

Great post Ana. In addition to your post, statement of the problem
should include a clear statement that the problem exists, evidence that
supports the existence of the problem, evidence of an existing trend that
has led to the problem, definitions of major concepts and terms, a clear
description of the setting, probable causes related to the problem, and a
specific and feasible statement. The main reason why research problem
is also important in a research is because it establishes the importance of
the research topic, creates interest, and focuses attention on the
research.
