Your tutors will be observing your professional communication and engagement across the semester to
award this mark. Each weekly tutorial will also have an exit-ticket activity ; this is an activity students will
be provided to work on during class to demonstrate their progress and active participation. These activities
are a good gauge of your progress and demonstration of your engagement. Students who conduct
themselves professionally, and actively participate, will easily be awarded full marks.
Reflective Oral Presentation (40%)
This assessment allows you to demonstrate your ability to be a critical reflective thinker and to
communicate this thinking clearly and articulately in a recorded (audio-visual) presentation. This reflective
oral presentation requires you to think critically about your learning journey in UPU0001 .
• Your reflection will require you to use the 5Rs of Reflection framework.
• You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate basic digital technology skills by preparing an
audio-visual presentation (e.g. PowerPoint). You will need to record your presentation and include
visual support such as colour, photos, animations, transitions, sound, and music to engage your
audience.
• The topic for your presentation is My Learning Journey.
You should reflect on the following:
• Your learning experiences prior (past considerations) to this semester (either online or face-to-face)
and what led you to enrol in your undergraduate certificate course.
• Your experience of learning in this unit and course ( present considerations).
• What you have learnt about how you learn as an online learner this semester and how this
knowledge will inform and influence future learning choices you make to maximise your success and
engagement (future application).
• You will need to include detailed reference to UPU0001 unit learning materials (including readings,
lectures, activities, and learning).

Your presentation needs to be uploaded as an audio-visual (movie) file (.wmv or
MP4) to the provided link on Blackboard (under Assessments). PowerPoint is
recommended; however, you are free to use any movie-file format you prefer but
you must make sure your upload is complete (check your submission to ensure
audio plays and the file can be accessed – NO Mac Keynote submissions are
accepted.
Your presentation is due by 5pm, Friday 27 May 2022
Time Your presentation should only run for a maximum of 6 minutes. You will need to
cover all aspects of the 5R Framework whilst engaging your audience within this
timeframe.
Considerations
Think of innovative and engaging ways to get your audience interested in your
learning journey.
• Include a personal introduction and farewell statement (vote of thanks).
