grapes and vinification. This process is combination of both Greek and Etruscans methods. Red
berry and white berry are two major Italian grapes varieties. Sicily, Apulia, Tuscany, Marche,
Veneto, Calabria, Abruzzo, Lombardy and Lazio are the regions famous for the production of
these varieties (Corrado & Odorici, 2010).
The five food pairings for the Italian wine is shown in the following chart. Both wines
and foods have Italian taste. Only single food is mentioned with respect to each wine. However,
a perfect meal can be arranged with each of these wines through including the suitable foods. It
is compulsory to mention that white wines are better to serve with lighter foods like green veggie
and fish while red wines can be served with both hard and fast foods.
