criminal justice system after this past three weeks of learning and studying. The key term vocabulary words with definitions really help to cover the material learned by going more into details of the actual words and what they mean in the criminal justice system. After reading the Escobedo v. Illinois 378 U.S. 478(1964) and Miranda v. Arizona 384 U.S. 436(1966) additional articles it helped me to better understand the chapters with a better explanation as in why an individual should be Mirandized or not by law enforcement when placed under arrest made so much more sense to as read through the chapters. I able to recognize the different pleas, guilty plea available for defendants. I learned more about the double jeopardy and the right to a speedy trial as well. I also gained knowledge about the statute of limitations and the purpose. On chapter six, I also learned a better understanding about the grand jury on and the history behind it and how they qualified as grand jurors and its main purpose to hear criminal accusations of a defendant. In the past three weeks I have gained a better understating and more knowledge about the criminal justice system and how the law applies to the Constitutional Rights of individuals. In

UNIT THREE 3 conclusion I will continue to grow and learn as an individual about the criminal justice system and constitutional rights and how they are applied.
