A few of the goals/objectives that Coca-Cola has are to “be a great place to work where people are inspired to be the best they can be”, “bring to the world a portfolio of quality beverage brands that anticipate and satisfy people’s desires and needs”, and “maximize long-term return to shareowners while being mindful of the overall responsibilities” (The Coca-Cola Company) . Goal one: “be a great place to work where people are inspired to be the best they can be” This goal meets the SMART criteria of being Specific, Measurable, Achievable, and Realistic but it is not a Time-bound goal . A way that they could make this a full SMART goal would be to say “in the next 10 years…” or put some sort of time restriction on when they would like to have this goal achieved . Goal two: “bring to the world a portfolio of quality beverage brands that anticipate and satisfy people’s desires and needs” This goal meets the SMART criteria of being Specific, Measurable, Achievable, and Realistic as well but once again, does not fit the Time-bound standard . Like goal one, if they out a time restriction on it, all five objectives would be met . Goal three: “maximize long-term return to shareowners while being mindful of the overall responsibilities” This goal meets the SMART on all five objectives . However, on the Time-bound objective it is sort of vague and could be more specific . Long-term is a look at an amount of time but it doesn’t give a certain amount of time that they consider “long-term” . By being less vague they could make this goal even better and more attainable . Coca-Cola has a great sustainable comparative advantage of customer, operational and product excellence. They have been in business for 126 years, giving them over a full century of business experience . They have always been a successful company, even when times are tough, and it is not easy to stay consistent and popular in the market for 100+ years . They also state in their mission that they want to “inspire moments of happiness and optimism”, which is not something that a lot of companies sell to their customers right in their company mission statement . By wanting their customers to be happy and optimistic, it draws in a bigger customer/consumer base for the product and keeps the company operating successfully . Current Product New Product Market penetration This is what Coca-Cola does every day in its work . They keep their current Product development Coca-Cola could make new labels for their existing products while still keeping

Current Market customers happy by creating and distributing a quality product that satisfies their needs . I know that I personally purchase Coke on a regular basis because I enjoy the product and haven’t found anything else that tastes as great .

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
