(C-TPAT). This program places a security emphasis on the entire supply chain in an effort to stop terrorism (Security, 2016). Some of the weaknesses that face Homeland Security specialists is communications across the multiple entities that encompass the HLS spectrum. The leadership in DHS is strong and focused, but has the daunting task of transforming 22 independent organizations into one cohesive entity. This in conjunction with the formation of fusion centers was supposed to increase the flow of information from the street level upward and horizontally between the various departments in the homeland security enterprise, and even though it has improved, it can still be better yet. I have contemplated covering threats to the international supply chain, how terrorists utilize the internet to advance their agenda, or possibly the migration issues along our southern border. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
