Remaining chapters will be covered if time permits. Other subject areas covered will be directly related to Sports and Entertainment Marketing . ***Supplemental materials will be provided to students for material related to the marketing portion of the curriculum*** Evaluation Calculation of Grades: 60% Major Assessment 25% Minor Assessment 15% Homework, Class Work, Class Participation Grades will be determined on a “point system” through essays, projects, quizzes/tests, homework, class participation, and a notebook grade. All the points will be totaled and then assigned to each of the three categories above. Essays and projects will be assigned periodically throughout the semester and will vary in points assigned for grading. Directions for the “Franchise Project” will be given out at a later date. Can be both Major and Minor Assessments. Tests will be assigned at the end of each chapter. There will be a final exam at the end of the semester. Quizzes and/or “pop” quizzes can be assigned by teacher’s discretion.
