vv PART B Question 1 What do you understand by conflict? Can conflicts be useful for organizations? If so, give an example. Conflict is a difference of opinions appears between two or more parties of individuals from different backgrounds and with different skills and experience. The conflicts should be communicated and dealt with appropriately. If conflict is communicated, then it can be useful for organization, as through debating individuals can encourage creative solutions to problems and generate innovation. Following an example from my working experience: I and my co-worker did an inspection for one of our franchise outlet (the restaurant). By the end of inspection we are supposed to score the outlet in terms of following the standards, brand image, level of hygiene standards, safety and etc. We were debating with regards to the scoring of many aspects as we have different background and experience. I was thinking from serves standards, brand image point of views and my co-worker (Chef) was thinking from food quality and hygiene standards points of views.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
