Lily. He thinks about what they’ll be doing after this and feels a sense of jealousy when he imagines they would be going to breakfast with his Uncle Ron, Aunt Hermione and his cousin Hugo. Albus had always been the quieter and less outgoing sibling, much like his father when he had first arrived on the Hogwarts Express. Chapter I

Julia Lesses October 11, 2011 Albus leaned out the window, and watched his father, mother and younger sister wave him goodbye as the Hogwarts Express moved out of platform 9 ¾. He was sitting on his knees, looking out the window until the last glimpse of his family was out of sight. The image of his father touching his forehead, while his mother held his sister Lily’s hand would be the last until he returned home for holiday. Unlike his father’s first Christmas at Hogwarts, instead of staying in the castle, he would return home with his brother and cousin and be welcomed by his family. With the thought of the next time he would see his mother and father already planted in his head, he turned around and settled into his seat in his compartment on the Hogwarts Express. Across from him sat his older brother, James and his cousin, Rose. James, already having gone to and from Hogwarts on the Hogwarts Express was already extremely comfortable and seemed to have already forgotten his family in the distance. James had left the compartment door open and the compartment quickly infiltrated with his own friends. Albus and Rose, not knowing anyone, looked at each other mirroring the same nervous face as new faces came into the compartment. Down the corridor Albus could hear the Honeydukes Express trolley making it’s way through the many small crowds of excited students. Inside the compartment, James and his friends Charlie and Daniel were talking about Isabelle Akins, a girl they had met the previous year, but returned to Hogwarts looking much more striking. “I swear mate, I never noticed her last year, she was one of the first people I saw on the platform today and I nearly didn’t recognize her”, Albus overheard as he stood up and walked past the chattering boys. After he squeezed by them, he stuck his head out of the compartment and looked left and then right, to find the trolley just a few compartments down. Albus pushed through the crowds of both boys and girls and found his way to the trolley. When he made his way to the trolley, with the intentions of sharing with Rose, he asked the plump witch if he could have a bag of Bertie Bott's Every Flavour Beans, a package of Liquorice Wands, Cauldron Cakes and Drooble’s Best Blowing Gum. After he managed through the crowded corridor, Albus returned to the compartment and this time it had a few less people than before. “What’s your name? I’m Thomas, James’ friend”, asked Thomas.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
