I think migrants and refugees have made a substantial contribution to the economic, social
and cultural development of Australia because they have assisted in the expanding of
consumer markets for local goods and opening new markets; they brought skills needed by
the Australian Market which has creating employment; they have made cultural, social and
economic contributions that have moulded Australian society and impart vitality and
multiculturalism into Australia.
