This was demonstrated with her pregnancy and how she was very adamant about keeping the baby and her willingness to do what she needed to do to keep the baby. Describe how assessing these dimensions assists the social worker in treatment planning.Assessing these dimensions can be very beneficial for a social worker developing a treatment plan for a client because these dimensions help with identifying a client’s strength and weaknesses. The dimensions can help with understanding the various levels of support and resources the client has available or may need. According to Olson (2000),the ultimate goal of Circumplex Model is to bridge research, theory and clinical practice.
