individuals. Needless to say they refused this. So my question is if this system is supposed to be so great for the American people, why is it not equally as great for the leaders of this country? Roosevelt knew when it was time to retract a policy, once the country was out of the depression he wanted to stop the spending that had been taking place and let everything level out in the country, once this was done the country started falling into a recession at which time Roosevelt abandoned this idea and the country came out of it within thirteen months. Seems to me that the leaders of this country should look back through history and study what works and doesn’t work so well, balance that with today’s standards and issues and stop making so many costly mistakes before we end up in a World War III.Reference: Goff, R., Moss, W., Terry, J., Upshur, J., & Shroeder, m.
