Major clinical problems were gastrointestinal, urinary, and uterine bleeding. Low levels or factor VIII are associated with this disorder which has been found to be an autosomal recesive. (not shown in this text) Victoria and Albert were the great-great grandparents of both Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip Prince Philip’s mother was the niece of Alexandra (wife of Nicolas, czar or Russia) and first cousin of Anastasia and Alexis (the hemophiliac child) Does anyone find it strange that ancestors of Victoria and Albert gave rise to offspring who became part of the ruling class of four different European societies?
