An initiatives and innovations funding package for PHOs is to be released with this resource document through an RFP process. This is part of a package of PHO funding programmes and will assist PHOs in consolidating and developing existing mental health initiatives, and developing, piloting and evaluating new initiatives. I would like to thank Counties Manukau District Health Board, the Primary Mental Health Steering Group and Working Group, and the many contributors to this document during the national consultation, hui and fono.
