Question 1: America’s Integration with the International Education Community America accommodates both local and international students. Today, international students enrolled for various programs take up 10% of the total population in institutions of higher learning. America hosts the largest number of International students globally. They are the key players in realizing internalization in the U.S colleges and Universities. This can be achieved through active facilitation, support and modelling by faculty stuff and administration in curricular and co-curricular contexts, creating an academic climate that recognizes and reflects

LITERATURE 3 the goals of including international students, assessing and evaluating students competence at all levels of the institution, being committed and recognizing mutual benefits of internationalization and by celebrating and accepting diversity to create a common ground. Other practices include adjustment of services and programs to meet international student’s needs, welcoming them and facilitating interaction with the local students. Through internationalization, it is easier to maximize potential for global learning and competency as stated by Siczek (2015).Also the country benefits economically and culturally since these students pay a lot of money to facilitate their education programs and others integrate with the local community and end up settling in the country.
