Conclusion Close Procurement ensures that there is an actual closure to a project. With the Waterfall Methodology there can be a misunderstanding that a project can go on and on because it ends with a maintenance phase. If there are issues in the maintenance phase, the team must start the processes all over again. Close Procurement also allows for lessons learned. Using the process updates a project manager will post what went right and what went wrong. These updates could be used in the future to make sure the same issue doesn’t happen again.
