of filling prescriptions, these obstacles can make the percentages of dissatisfied customers continues to rise. The rising cost of prescriptions can also play a part in the amount of dissatisfied customers as well as the amount of debt that people are accruing when it comes to healthcare needs. When the forces begin to change or evolve, it also affects the other forces as well and it typically doesn’t have a positive outcome. I believe that Banner Health is already on the right path to make the changes that are needed to help the healthcare industry improve and better serve the patients. Our company is trying to aid families that are under-insured or not insured at all, but they also try to help the dissatisfied customers by listening to the reviews and the complaints of the patients and making the necessary changes to better the healthcare that they are giving. D. Proposal Out of the six forces that need to be addressed, the most crucial one would be the amount of dissatisfied customers. When we have unhappy patients it trickles into every other aspect of the healthcare facility. With Banner Health we need to study the complaints and determine what the main issue each patients is having and make a decision based on the most frequent complaint that we are receiving. Banner Health does offer their patients financial assistance when they are having difficulties paying their medical bills or their co-pays, but those programs are determined by the patients income level as well as if they have insurance or are uninsured. I would propose for Banner Health to find ways to lower their expenses and find better resources for the equipment and or products needed for medical procedures.

HCM 400 Final Project One way to better help the patients financially would be to implement grant programs through their financial assistance programs. Instead of having the patients pay all or most of their bills throughout a significant amount of time and adding to their stress level, they could offer a grant program to certain people within a certain criteria. For example, we could create our own grant program through Banner Health that could help patients pay the portion of their bills that are not covered by insurance or for the patients who are uninsured there could be a base price for specific medical procedures that the grant could help cover if the patient in unable to. This will help take the burden off the patients and enable them to get the medical care that is needed without the added stress of being unable to afford it. There could be different grants for different procedures, whether they are outpatient or inpatient, as well as what there financial situation is. If Banner Health was to implement a grant program for their patients I believe that we would have more satisfied patients as well as helping to alter the cost of their patients healthcare.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
