Limitations/problems
The price of DHL’s products are expensive because their costs are high. According to
Yunfeng Gao
(DATE), DHL is more expensive than other 3PL companies. The main reasons
are:
1) DHL offers high number of ports for transportation
2) DHL is quick at managing urgent claims and also can arrange immediate flights if needed.
3) DHL claims that it can deliver items to any location set by their customers. However, they
are not responsible for tariff. This means that their customers have to pay for their own tariff.
Which could add up in the bill.
4) DHL incorporate high technology to ensure quick and safe deliveries.
