1. Introduction It is essential to be effective as a communication, critical thinker, analyzer, team worker when work together with in a team. Within the work place these skills are needed to show proficiency in designated tasks as part of a job role. Based on this for first semester assignment trainees have done a training program to a chosen crowd. From doing this training program it will give lots of benefits to take ability to communicate effectively using different tools and mediums will ensure that practical, research, design, reporting, and presentation skills are undertaken professionally and in accordance with various communication conventions. For the authors point of view trainees done this training program as a team with other trainees, working with each other gave a huge experience about the dynamics of teams in terms of culture, roles and responsibilities will ensure that there is a better understanding and awareness of the importance and value of teamwork. When working with the plans and time schedules it improved professional development, self- improvement and work towards carious goals in an area that is encouraged within a framework. On successful completion of this event all trainees demonstrated leadership skills through the dynamic of team working and through reflective practice evaluate the contribution made as an individual. 1 Professional issues & Practices Sachini Perera (Batch 80)

2.Demonstration of a range of interpersonal and transferable communication skills to a target audience 2.1 The Training event: For the authors point firstly trainees formed the group of 12 members and appointed the leader for the group. Then he gave a rough idea about the training program and then from members vote they appointed a secretary and treasurer to write the minutes, make the budget and collect money for the event. Trainees discussed each other and took everyone’s idea when choosing a crowd and a related topic for the event. In the end trainees selected Grade 09 and 10 students. They went through with their syllabus and HTML was selected as the presentation topic . 2.2 Professional schedule Professional schedule was mainly made by the leader Hamjeth and secretary of the group. After appointing hamjeth as the leader, Safiya as the secretary and sachini as the treasurer I, in the next meeting and that week, group members had discussions about the crowd and the topic for the event. After selecting the Lyceum International school grade 09 and 10 students as the gathering, they had meetings to select the relevant topic for the event and chosen HTML. Mainly the leader and with other members they made the syllabus content, created a nice certificate, made the feedback form and took approval from the lecturer and the coordinator of Information Technology. Finalized the budget and collected the money what they wanted for the event. In the next meeting gave a good knowledge about HTML to the group members.
