Ferber 2 asking simple questions - “Is this hall co-ed now?” - so I tried to be polite and listen. Then he began to get weird. His questions devolved from normal ones to more personal questions that are not very appropriate for a stranger to ask. “Got a boyfriend?” Though I thought that was a very strange question for him to ask, I still answered,“No.” “That’s good. You don’t need those kinds of distractions. But let me tell you, you gotta make a lot of guy friends, you know? You get a better college experience when you only have friends of the opposite sex.” I was starting to get uncomfortable and every time someone walked by, I tried to signal them to come and get me out of that situation. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
