Question 3 The extract is taken from a primary source . 1 question worth 100 marks . Spend 60 minutes on this question. This includes reading, thinking, planning and writing time. Interpretation Exercise: - This tests your ability to interpret a primary source. - You will need to read the source carefully and critically. - Only write about what the source tells you. Do not use your own outside knowledge. You will not receive extra marks. - You do not need to form an argument. Rather, group relevant ideas together and consider their wider implications and connections. - You will need to: a) Describe a series of details drawn from the text. b) Use the details to draw broader, analytical conclusions.
