These will be in blackboard and will be timed. Although they are open book and open notes, you should study the material before taking the exam or you will not be able to finish on time. These assessments are to be done individually . Any evidence of working with other students will result in a permanent F in the class. Mid-term & Final Exams: There will be a mid-term exam and a comprehensive final exam that will be given during class. Dates are listed in the syllabus, plan accordingly. If you will require a make-up exam, you must let me know in writing via email before the exam is given. Late Assignments: Late assignments will be accepted up until a week past the due date, but will be assessed a 50% late penalty. After a week, assignments will not be accepted. All assignments are due as stated in the schedule. Anticipate anything: printer problems, computers crashing, disks failing email locking up and/or going down. It is your responsibility to make sure that your work has been properly submitted and received. Other Policies and information Extra Credit: There will be no individual extra credit given so please do not request it. If there is any extra credit it will be for the whole class and will be announced in class. Students are responsible for full knowledge of the provisions and regulations relating to all aspects of their attendance at MSU Denver. University policies pertaining to students are available in the University Catalog, , and University Policy Library, . Academic Integrity: The Academic Integrity Statement for the University was written by the Academic Integrity Advisory Board, made up of faculty, staff, and students. It states: "As students, faculty, staff and administrators of Metropolitan State University of Denver, it is our responsibility to uphold and maintain an academic environment that furthers scholarly inquiry, creative activity and the application of knowledge. We will not tolerate academic dishonesty. We will demonstrate honesty and integrity in all activities related to our learning and scholarship. We will not plagiarize, fabricate information or data, cheat on tests or exams, steal academic material, or submit work to more than one class without full disclosure." Note: There is no rounding up. You need 930 points for an A, not 929.5.
