b.Yes, I think Banyan Tree can maintain its unique resort in an overcrowded market. Having Banyan Tree in a unique location where the land is preserved and having a romantic feel to it I think there will always be guests wanting to stay at Banyan Tree than at any other resort that is similar.3.Discuss whether the brand portfolio of Banyan Tree, Angsana, and Colours of Angsana, as well as the product portfolio of beach resorts and city hotels, spas, galleries, and museum shops fit as a family. What are your recommendations to Banyan Tree for managing these brands and products in the future?a.The resorts and other branches of the brand do fit as a family. The branding of Banyan Tree is about romance and discovering the world with the unique environment around the guests. They even have a standard that every employee is trained at a five-star service.b.My recommendation would be to make sure that the brand is keeping up with the markets latest trends and come up with newer trends so that they are ahead of their competitors.4.What effect does the practice of corporate social responsibility have on brand equity?a.It shows that the company has their own values to life such as, preserve, protect, and promote the natural and human environment, and revitalizing local communities. These values lead to employees and customers own life values where they appreciated and could also relate.5.What protentional problems do you foresee bringing Banyan Tree to the Americas, Europe and the Middle East? How could Banyan Tree address those issues?
a.Higher cost of living would be a major issue in the Americas and Europe. In the Middle East it is mostly made up of desert which would be hard for Banyan Tree since their marketing is more towards a tropical environment.b.Banyan Tree could build their resorts in a developing country such as Mexico, where it is lower costs and labor is inexpensive, and it is also close to America.
