Under the tyrant’s rule, people are dying and the country needs a savior. In an effort to retain his throne, Macbeth has wreaked havoc on the people of Scotland. Macduff has begun to equate the sorrows of his country with Macbeth’s rise to power and has come to England to appeal to Malcolm for help.
