13. Based on what you’ve learned so far, write down at least ONE (1) thing you want to IMPROVE or CHANGE in terms of your diet / eating habits / food choices THIS SEMESTER. You will be asked to evaluate this same goal when you complete the last assignment (M12). Your goal needs to be SPECIFIC, REALISTIC, and MEASURABLE. A measurable goal usually has numbers and/or a time frame in it ( Example: “Right now, I drink a lot of soda (about four 20-oz bottles per day). By the end of the semester, I want to be down to no more than ONE 20-oz soda a WEEK” ). (2 points) Answer: Right now I don’t eat a good well balance breakfast, I usually grab a KIND bar as I go out the door. Although these are good I want to make it a goal to wake up 30 minutes earlier so that I will be able to put together cereal, oatmeal, fruit and yogurt, etc. and eat it before I leave for the day. I will have to make plans when I go grocery shopping to purchase these things every week. Every week I will reevaluate how I am doing and make adjustments as needed. 14. Write down at least ONE (1) thing you want to IMPROVE or CHANGE in terms of your physical activity / exercise habits THIS SEMESTER. You will be asked to evaluate this same goal when you complete your last assignment. Your goal needs to be SPECIFIC, REALISTIC, and MEASURABLE. A measurable goal usually has numbers and/or a time frame in it ( Example: “I don't exercise very much because I don't like working out in a gym. However, I've just learned about the Outdoor Recreation Program (ORP) on campus and I plan to get involved in their events and activities. By the end of the semester, I want to work up to an HOUR A DAY of moderate physical activity at least FOUR (4) DAYS a week” ). (2 points) Answer: I have a long term goal of running a marathon in a year so for this semester I want to get back into running like I was. I plan on running outside on a belt route that follow the Logan River and as the weather gets colder I will move inside. I want to start with no less than two miles a day and work myself up to running 6 miles easily by the end of the semester. I plan on running a race in October and then a Turkey Trot in November.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
