Furthermore, users can obtain more information from the built-in Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) section. For any feedback or difficulty faced, users can prompt us through the message box in this section as well. Through the feedback provided, we get to know the users’ experiences and ultimately making improvements. Admins may reach the user through email upon receiving the message. In ‘Recycle & Rewards’, important notifications can be found under the FAQ section to keep the users up-to-date with the latest information. ‘Recycle & Rewards’ is unique as it is designed to overcome the current issue that occurred in the recycling collection system in UTAR, Kampar. Its user-friendly features enhance user’s experience when using this app as most of the functions can be assessed by just inserting the required letter that can be found on an ordinary keyboard. Besides, with a digital software like this application, manual procedures that involve paper and pen can be avoided, thus saving paper and time in the process, and even increasing the efficiency of carrying out the recycling program. Most importantly, this new application we developed aims to increase recycling rates by making recycling easier for the users. ‘Recycle & Rewards’ rewards users by going green, hence it has the potential to inspire more people in involving environmental sustainability program to achieve a clean and healthy environment together.
3 3.0 PROBLEM STATEMENT No. Problem statement Module 1 Both of the users and admins need a reliable page to assess the program safely. A login page with respective users’ and admins’ username and password is required as users’ and admins’ accounts are vulnerable to wrongdoer who may assess the system with bad intention. Account login (Admin & User) 2 Registering to be a member of the program with manual procedure requires a long time, thus it is not efficient. Not only the registration of new member through manual procedure takes time, newly registered member may enter incomplete or incorrect data without him/her realising. Membership Registration (User) 3 Users may have difficulty to remember the Green Points they have collected or redeemed. Users may check their profile and collected Green Points by meeting the admins but it is time-consuming. Profile Viewing and Modification (User) 4 Admins need extra effort and time to sort users’ detail and tally users’ total Green Points.It requires admin’s time and energy to update users’ details through paper document management. Paper documents are prone to damage as well as it can be easily damaged, lost, misplaced or stolen. Users Details Viewing (Admin) 5 Users could not sort their recyclable goods effectively without a clear guidance.
