source of the organic items. Organic goods are primarily grown and then packaged by its producer. By creating a relationship with organic farmers, Wal-Mart could offer these items at a lower price than its competitors. Organic items are often very expensive when compared to their non-organic equivalent. If Wal-Mart offered the products at a lower price, its customer base would grow to include consumers who typically cannot afford to purchase the expensive organic groceries. Lastly, in order for the new product line to take off, Wal-Mart would need to spread the word by either word of mouth advertising or by utilizing social media avenues. There is something to be said about a friend raving over a shopping experience he or she had and influencing many friends with this information. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
