2. Insights (What new insights or learnings did you gain in discussion/ activity?) i. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that clothing has no significant effect to gender specially in young ages. However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize it is an essential factor that should be considered by parents; mothers that believe the baby is a boy prefer to give him a masculine toy and place him on the ground, whilst mothers who think the baby is a female continue to give her a feminine toy and speak to her. ii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that nonverbal communication poses no significance to students concerning gender behavior and orientation. However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize that observational nonverbal communication is a noticeable factor within students that should be considered, these discussions also contributes to the relationship of class and ethnic gaps in non-verbal behavior.

iii. Before reading the article/understanding the lesson, I thought that preferences on our individual look for in-future mates does not impact gender differences. However, reading the article/understanding the lesson, I now think/realize that characteristic that we see in others that fits our preferences often show significant gender differences; results of this idea often lead to a conversation of the hunter-gatherer theory.
