Ans: I believe the major and foremost issue is that of beauty parlor employees who are at times untrained, unskilled and highly judgmental. They must be given proper training like that given in Depilex (Beauty Parlor) so they know how to treat a customer and they are specialized in the long run. About the costumers, they must not fully rely on these parlors but they should research a little before undergoing an expensive treatment like facial, skin polish or Medicare & Pedicure. (Parizae, 2018) Q12. How good are the results of specific beauty treatments? Ans: You never know, because the results are not instant. It takes time to discover what treatment is good for your skin and what is not. (Parizae, 2018) Q13. What can government do in this regard?

48 Beauty Parlors Ans: The government should start a survey and should employ its officers to keep a check and balance of these beauty parlors regarding their services, cleanliness and registry. Like secret food inspectors, secret agents should go to these parlors and inspect their services. At the end, a report should be made and the parlors found guilty should be penalized (banned or taxed) so in order to improve this entire business. (Parizae, 2018) Appendix E: Interview with a consumer who goes to cheap and unregistered beauty salons. The interviewee is a house maid who goes to customized beauty salons regularly. Q1. Which type of beauty parlor do you go to? Ans: I go to low class beauty parlors near my house. (Mansabh, 2018) Q2. What do you feel when you enter a beauty parlor? Ans: I visit the parlor to look better and prettier. When I go to weddings, I get my makeup done. All your cousins and friends get jealous when you look beautiful. (Mansabh, 2018) Q3. Do you think everyone should go to a beauty parlor? Why? Ans: Yes, everyone should visit a salon often, for their own self confidence and beauty. This should be done at least once a month. (Mansabh, 2018) Q4. Do you check the beauty products which are being used on you? Ans: I have never been mindful of the products being used on my skin. I do not care whether the products are expired or not. I do not think about the after effects, or the health of my skin, just the immediate results matters to me. (Mansabh, 2018)

49 Beauty Parlors Q5. Did any beauty product ever malfunction on you? Ans: Yes, it happens very often. My skin got burnt a lot of times after bleach and facial. (Mansabh, 2018) Q6. What is the behavior of parlor employees with you? Ans: With me, they are good because the beauty parlor I go to is in my neighborhood and the girls who work there are my friends. But generally they are rude. Once my friend was getting agitated while the bleach was on, she complaint but the girls asked her to keep quite because they know more than what she does. (Mansabh, 2018) Q7. Did you ever check the expiry date of the products being used on you?
