Written and verbal contracts should be treated differently. Contracts are the finalized version of an agreement and if the Scalisi’s agreed to a verbal contract when the written contract was drawn up for signing they should have made it a point to have them include the verbal agreement’s points. The Scalisi’s had options and with those options they should have weighed the pros and cons. The Scalisi’s could have forgone the written contract the way it was presented to them and they could have negotiated the terms and had the contract amended.
