flexible when in a leadership position, this is because context changes and those you may be leading can also change. Chapter 22 was all about understanding who is in a group. When you can understand the people that exist in the group and how they interact with one another you are better able to lead the group to success. Lastly, chapter 23 had to do with how outside factors can affect a group, whether it be economic, environmental, legislative, fads, etc. There are many ways that the environment can affect an organization and a leader will adapt to those factors to ensure success. I thoroughly believe everything the author is saying because I can see how being stagnant is the same as failing in some businesses. From these chapters I extracted the idea that leadership includes flexibility and one must be able to assess the group dynamic, the environment and the context to adapt. A good leader is never the same in every situation but constantly changing and evolving to find different ways to lead his or her peers better in a way that will lead to success. I think in the future I too will practice flexibility as well as learning to learn my group so that I can learn how to lead them individually.

As a current student on this bumpy collegiate pathway, I stumbled upon Course Hero, where I can find study resources for nearly all my courses, get online help from tutors 24/7, and even share my old projects, papers, and lecture notes with other students.

The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
