There are three parts to the Personal Project that every 10 th grader will complete The process journal The project itself The report discussing the ATL process The Personal Project is an excellent opportunity for students to produce truly cre- ative pieces of work of their own choice even if it has not been represented by one of the subject areas. The personal project may take many forms. Here are some examples: o An original work of art (visual, dramatic, performance) o A written piece (literary, social, psychological) o A piece of literary fiction (creative writing) o An original science experiment o An invention or specially designed object or system o The presentation of a developed business or management plan for an enterprise, business, special event or project. o An extended piece of writing. The project may address a debatable
topic. At the end of the Personal Project process, the students, parents and supervisors celebrate the hard work that has accompanied their learning by a Personal Project Evening. Absent: Get the MYP Project handout from me and brainstorm three ideas and they will be due on Monday. Type out your answer to the journal question below. Get lecture notes from writing partner.
