4a) Similarities in the circumstances between the Japanese-Americans, Arab- American and Middle Eastern immigrants are they are being prejudiced and stereotyped for reasons of “National Security”, they were and are the targets of anger and violence because of their heritage and because of their appearance they are treated differently and deemed untrustworthy throughout the United States. 4b) Some of the differences are that we don’t have internment camps and keeping them isolated. With the Patriot Act loosening restrictions since 9/11, along with the advancements in technology, the government can legally spy on the citizens and we are electronically surveillance which was not possible in 1942.
