other time. Thus, the emphasis of Think Positively! to provide a curriculum that assists teenagers to acquire health coping strategies and thus to transition successfully from childhood to adulthood is laudatory. Its 12 modules address steps needed to acquire and retain beneficial coping skills. Examples include acquiring needed language, thinking positively, getting along with others, solving problems, making decisions, setting and attaining goals, and managing time. I am particularly grateful for guidance on ways to develop coping styles with children who experience divorce, depression, learning problems, and chronic illness and those diagnosed with Aspersers. Successful writers display instrumental knowledge of the literature and conviction of their beliefs. The writing style in Think Positively! displays these qualities. Dr. Frydenberg has developed an international reputation for her important scholarship on coping. Her excellent command of this literature is reflected in this book. Her strong convictions about the importance of coping are seen in her personal qualities, ones characterized by intimacy, building capacity, happiness, health, hope, life success, originality, positive approaches, resilience, self- efficacy, spirituality, and wellbeing. The flow of one’s pen, when discussing these qualities, is made easier when one personally embraces them. The ability to access any university’s resources through Course Hero proved invaluable in my case. I was behind on Tulane coursework and actually used UCLA’s materials to help me move forward and get everything together on time.
