“I Won’t Give Up On Us” starts as a loving verse but the second verse gives us reason to believe that there is some sort of problem within the relationship. From his point of view it is clear that he would do anything to keep the relationship alive because “God knows [they’re] worth it”. The narrator is clearly invested in the relationship and makes it evident that he wants to move forward in the relationship as well. “I Won’t Give Up On Us” is an amazing song about a man not giving up on his relationship. It is not completely clear what kind of relationship it is, whether it is a significant other or a friend but the words are versatile and can work for both kinds of relationships. I have assumed that it is a significant other. The words are powerful in the song because they show persistence and understanding.
