EDUC 721 Procedures - the TFI Tier 1 inventory is a rubric system. In Tier 1 there are 15 universal SWPBIS features for scoring the criteria 0 to 2. All schools scoring below 70% were included in the data collection. “Descriptive statistics were initially calculated to learn the variable and a multivariate analysis of covariance (MANCOVA) was conducted to determine minority and economically disadvantaged students, the chronic absenteeism rate and the completion of teacher ratings” (Noltemeyer et al., 2019, p. 83). Data was collected from dependent variables that met three criteria areas. Noltemeyer et al. (2019), “the independent variable was a sample from the implementation level with two groups created using a Likert-type scale and a rubric” (p. 82). Results Report Data - on average, most schools scored 66% on the TFI Tier 1 level with an out-of-school suspension rate about 18.54% per 100 students, and an achievement score of 63% (Noltemeyer et al., 2019). The out-of-school suspension rate was 22.96% of schools scoring below 70% of Tier 1. The schools scoring at or above 70% had an out-of- school suspension rate of 14.05%.
